Many Port Charlotte homes date from the 1960s through the 1980s, and many took a direct hit from Hurricane Ian in 2022. FESG repairs storm-damaged and aging stucco, removes layers of mismatched patches, rebuilds lower walls, and refinishes homes and commercial buildings across Charlotte County.

PORT CHARLOTTE EXTERIOR SERVICES
Port Charlotte repairs often involve older stucco with several decades of patches, plus storm damage from Ian. We decide whether a localized repair will hold up or whether an elevation needs to be repaired and refinished as a whole.
STUCCO REPAIRCrack, impact and storm repairs on Port Charlotte homes and buildings, with texture and color blended into the existing wall.
We open the damaged area to sound material, rebuild it, and plan where the finish should stop so the repair doesn't show.
EIFSLayer-by-layer EIFS repairs and new EIFS details and walls in Port Charlotte, using matching manufacturer systems such as Sto and Dryvit.
EIFS is repaired with the same layers it was built with: foam, mesh, base coat and finish. We use the original manufacturer's materials so the repair performs like the rest of the wall.
PARGING & FOUNDATION FINISHESRepair and re-parging of block, stem walls and lower walls on Port Charlotte homes worn by water, soil and impact.
The base of the wall takes water, soil and impact. We repair loose or damaged material and re-parge so the lower wall is protected again.

Before & after · Fort Myers
A recent FESG job in Fort Myers. Roof runoff kept this dormer wet, and algae and mold had turned the stucco green and black along the roof line and below the window. It was mostly a repair job: we cleaned the stucco gently, repaired the damaged areas, then renovated the finish so the dormer is one even color again. We see the same algae problem on dormers across Port Charlotte and handle it the same way.

For builders
Much of our work is new construction for home builders. This is one of the homes we finished for Centennial Homes: EIFS columns, balcony surrounds and wall panels in two colors. Builders bring us in for the parts of the elevation that make the house look custom.

Commercial
A restaurant pad with a drive-thru, anchoring a strip of storefronts. The EIFS and stucco had to look sharp under signage and night lighting, stay consistent from unit to unit, and get done around open businesses and a working drive-thru lane.
For Port Charlotte plazas, storefronts and offices we plan the work by elevation and tenant, so customers can still get in the door.
PORT CHARLOTTE REPAIR CONDITIONS
Older stucco and a major hurricane make for a different repair conversation. We check how well the existing stucco is still bonded and how much of it has already been patched before recommending a scope.
Ian came ashore at Cayo Costa, southwest of Port Charlotte, in 2022, and its eyewall crossed Charlotte County. Cracks, impact damage, loose stucco and water staining from that storm are still being found and repaired.
On older homes, stucco can come loose from the block behind it. Tapping finds hollow areas, which need to come off and be rebuilt rather than patched over.
Many homes carry patches from several owners and contractors. Repairing and refinishing a full elevation is often more economical than chasing every patch.
Homes along the canals and Charlotte Harbor see more moisture and wind. Lower walls and seawall-side elevations need extra attention.
Sprinklers, soil and runoff wear the base of older walls. We repair and re-parge exposed block so the bottom of the wall is protected.
Older plazas and storefronts need repairs and refinishing planned around open businesses.
IDENTIFY THE PORT CHARLOTTE WALL SYSTEM
Most Port Charlotte homes are concrete block with cement stucco, often with several layers of repairs and paint. Some newer homes and commercial buildings use EIFS. We confirm the system before choosing a repair.
Cement-based stucco repair may involve removing unsound material, rebuilding the repair area, matching the surrounding texture, and blending the finished surface. The correct scope depends on the substrate and how far the damage extends.
EIFS is a layered wall system, so repairs may involve insulation, reinforced base coat, mesh, finish coat, and transitions around openings. A surface-only patch is not always enough when deeper layers are affected.
LOCAL REPAIR OR LARGER RESTORATION?
Localized cracks, impact damage, holes, or a failed patch can often be approached as a contained repair when the surrounding wall is sound.
Widespread cracking, multiple soft areas, recurring failures, or damage spanning several elevations can justify a broader repair plan instead of repeatedly patching isolated spots.
Additions, new construction, major façade changes, and large replacement areas should be planned as complete wall-system work rather than treated like cosmetic patching.

PORT CHARLOTTE STUCCO REPAIR COST FACTORS
We do not publish a fake one-size-fits-all repair price because access, depth, wall system, matching difficulty, and the condition behind the finish can change the amount of work substantially. These are the factors that usually matter most when we review a Port Charlotte repair.
A surface crack is different from a repair that extends through several layers.
Upper stories, tight side yards, landscaping, and staging requirements affect setup.
A visible front elevation may require more careful blending than a hidden utility wall.
Soft areas, repeat failures, or unknown previous repairs can change the repair plan.
Traditional stucco and EIFS are repaired differently and may involve different materials and steps.
PORT CHARLOTTE PROJECT TYPES
We handle single repairs, whole-elevation refinishing on older homes, and commercial work along the main corridors.

PORT CHARLOTTE LOCAL CONTEXT
Port Charlotte is not an incorporated city, so permits generally go through Charlotte County, while Punta Gorda across the harbor has its own city office. Many canal-front and low-lying homes are in flood zones, and after a major storm, larger repairs there can need the full repair value considered under substantial-damage rules. We confirm the requirements from the address and scope.
PORT CHARLOTTE FAQ
Most older stucco can be repaired. We tap the walls to find loose areas and look at the existing patches. If most of an elevation is sound, a repair and refinish is usually the most economical choice.
Yes. Send photos and the address. Some damage shows up later as cracks, staining or hollow-sounding stucco, and we check for those too.
Port Charlotte is unincorporated, so Charlotte County is generally the permitting authority. Punta Gorda addresses go through the City of Punta Gorda.
On a wall with many patches, the best result usually comes from repairing the damage, then refinishing the whole elevation so the texture and color are even.
Yes. We repair and refinish plazas, storefronts and multifamily buildings, and plan the work around businesses and residents.
Yes. Green or black streaks on stucco, often on dormers and walls next to rooflines, mean the wall is staying wet. We find the cause (usually roof runoff, gutters or shade), clean the stucco gently instead of pressure washing it, repair any cracked or soft stucco underneath, and refinish so the wall is one even color again.
