St. Petersburg has historic Mediterranean Revival homes in Old Northeast and Snell Isle, mid-century homes in Shore Acres and Pasadena, and condo and commercial buildings downtown. FESG repairs storm and surge damage, matches historic textures, and restores EIFS on condos and commercial buildings.

ST. PETERSBURG EXTERIOR SERVICES
After the 2024 storms, many St. Pete owners are dealing with surge-damaged lower walls, cracks and impact damage. Alongside storm work, we handle historic texture matching and EIFS repairs on condos and commercial buildings.
STUCCO REPAIRCrack, impact and storm repairs on St. Petersburg homes and buildings, with texture and color blended into the existing wall.
We open the damaged area to sound material, rebuild it, and plan where the finish should stop so the repair doesn't show.
EIFSLayer-by-layer EIFS repairs and new EIFS details and walls in St. Petersburg, using matching manufacturer systems such as Sto and Dryvit.
EIFS is repaired with the same layers it was built with: foam, mesh, base coat and finish. We use the original manufacturer's materials so the repair performs like the rest of the wall.
PARGING & FOUNDATION FINISHESRepair and re-parging of block, stem walls and lower walls on St. Petersburg homes worn by water, soil and impact.
The base of the wall takes water, soil and impact. We repair loose or damaged material and re-parge so the lower wall is protected again.

PROJECT PROOF

Before & after · Fort Myers
A recent FESG job in Fort Myers. Roof runoff kept this dormer wet, and algae and mold had turned the stucco green and black along the roof line and below the window. It was mostly a repair job: we cleaned the stucco gently, repaired the damaged areas, then renovated the finish so the dormer is one even color again. We see the same algae problem on dormers across St. Petersburg and handle it the same way.

For builders
Much of our work is new construction for home builders. This is one of the homes we finished for Centennial Homes: EIFS columns, balcony surrounds and wall panels in two colors. Builders bring us in for the parts of the elevation that make the house look custom.

Commercial
A restaurant pad with a drive-thru, anchoring a strip of storefronts. The EIFS and stucco had to look sharp under signage and night lighting, stay consistent from unit to unit, and get done around open businesses and a working drive-thru lane.
For St. Petersburg plazas, storefronts and offices we plan the work by elevation and tenant, so customers can still get in the door.
ST. PETERSBURG REPAIR CONDITIONS
Surge, wind and age each leave different marks on a wall. We look at the exposure, history and system before recommending a scope.
Helene's 2024 surge flooded low-lying neighborhoods like Shore Acres. Stucco at the base of the wall can debond, stain or hold moisture and should be inspected.
Milton's winds damaged walls across the city. Cracks, impact holes and loose stucco need proper repair.
Original stucco often has hand-applied textures. Repairs need to match them.
EIFS damage needs layer-by-layer repair with matching materials.
Older homes often carry several generations of repairs. A repair-and-refinish plan usually gives the best result.
Commercial repairs need to be planned around open businesses.
IDENTIFY THE ST. PETERSBURG WALL SYSTEM
St. Petersburg has historic stucco over masonry or frame, mid-century block homes, and EIFS on many condo and commercial buildings. We confirm the system before choosing a repair.
Cement-based stucco repair may involve removing unsound material, rebuilding the repair area, matching the surrounding texture, and blending the finished surface. The correct scope depends on the substrate and how far the damage extends.
EIFS is a layered wall system, so repairs may involve insulation, reinforced base coat, mesh, finish coat, and transitions around openings. A surface-only patch is not always enough when deeper layers are affected.
LOCAL REPAIR OR LARGER RESTORATION?
Localized cracks, impact damage, holes, or a failed patch can often be approached as a contained repair when the surrounding wall is sound.
Widespread cracking, multiple soft areas, recurring failures, or damage spanning several elevations can justify a broader repair plan instead of repeatedly patching isolated spots.
Additions, new construction, major façade changes, and large replacement areas should be planned as complete wall-system work rather than treated like cosmetic patching.
SCOPE + ESTIMATE
Wide photos and close-ups help us tell a simple repair from a larger wall problem before we visit.
ST. PETERSBURG STUCCO REPAIR COST FACTORS
We do not publish a fake one-size-fits-all repair price because access, depth, wall system, matching difficulty, and the condition behind the finish can change the amount of work substantially. These are the factors that usually matter most when we review a St. Petersburg repair.
A surface crack is different from a repair that extends through several layers.
Upper stories, tight side yards, landscaping, and staging requirements affect setup.
A visible front elevation may require more careful blending than a hidden utility wall.
Soft areas, repeat failures, or unknown previous repairs can change the repair plan.
Traditional stucco and EIFS are repaired differently and may involve different materials and steps.
ST. PETERSBURG PROJECT TYPES
We plan each project to its building type, from careful historic repairs to condo work with associations.
Storm repairs, texture-matched repairs and refinishing.
EIFS repair, balcony and edge repairs, and phased refinishing.
Surge-damage inspection, lower-wall repair and parging.
ST. PETERSBURG COVERAGE
Looking for a stucco contractor near you in St. Petersburg? This page covers St. Petersburg and nearby Pinellas County. For Hillsborough County, see the Tampa page.
ST. PETERSBURG LOCAL CONTEXT
The City of St. Petersburg handles permits inside the city, while nearby Gulfport is its own city and some surrounding addresses are in unincorporated Pinellas County. Many low-lying neighborhoods are in flood zones, where larger repairs after storm and surge damage can need the full repair value considered. Historic districts can also have review requirements.
ST. PETERSBURG FAQ
Yes. Surge water can loosen stucco at the base of the wall or leave moisture behind it. Hollow-sounding or stained areas near the bottom of the wall are worth inspecting.
Yes. We match the original hand-applied texture. Send close-up photos of the texture and the damage.
Properties inside the city go through the City of St. Petersburg. Nearby areas can be Pinellas County or another city. We confirm from the address.
Yes. We repair EIFS layer by layer and can work with associations on phased scopes.
Yes. Send photos and the address, and we will tell you what to inspect first.
Yes. Green or black streaks on stucco, often on dormers and walls next to rooflines, mean the wall is staying wet. We find the cause (usually roof runoff, gutters or shade), clean the stucco gently instead of pressure washing it, repair any cracked or soft stucco underneath, and refinish so the wall is one even color again.
ST. PETERSBURG ESTIMATES
Send the address, a wide photo, close-ups of the damage and rough dimensions. That's usually enough for us to decide whether the next step is an estimate or a site visit.
